Cyprus Underwater Explorers are based on the North side of the island and have decided to help one of their local charities, Tulips (KHYD), to survive this pandemic.

Cyprus Underwater Explorers will be running a 24 hour Dive-A-Thon on the 5th August 2021 starting at 10am and finishing on the 6th August 2021 at 10am at the Manolya Hotel, Lapta, Girne. Whilst we cannot physically do anything to help these divers during their diving, we can show support.

We are well aware that many of you are not on the island and/or cannot attend in person so we are asking that you support this caring team by making a donation via this page.

Tulips (Kanser Hastalarina Yardim Dernegi) was established in May 1993 but like every charity, and business globally, it continues to struggle from one month to another just to survive. So many of our larger fundraising activities ie our concerts have been curtailed due to the covid restrictions.

Without Tulips so many people of all nationalities would not have cancer treatment they deserve so we need to do everything we can to keep this charity alive.
