24 Hour Burpeeathon

Aim: Unite the health & fitness sector in North Ayrshire by running a fund-raising event in order you donate to the charity/club of each of the 4 fitness companies involved

Event: 24 hour of continuous burpees streamed live on the Mission: FIT, Curves, Duel Fitness and Ayrshire Fight Academy's Facebook page. This will be involving staff, clients/members, and hopefully volunteers. It will be broken into 30min blocks and any number of participants can take part in any block so long as all 48 slots over the 24hr period are filled.

Donations and Funding: This just giving page will is made for all donations and will be promoted/shared and advertised by all 4 parties to ensure maximum funding raised for these amazing causes that's so close to our hearts. Funding will be split equally between all groups to donate to their chosen charities/club.

Venue: Kilwinning Community Sports Club Fitness Studio

Gym/Companies Involved & Chosen Charities/Clubs:

Mission:FIT - Kilwinning Sports Club to help fund the resurfacing of faulty AstroTurf that is used by 100's per week.

Curves Irvine - We have chosen Ayrshire Hospice as our charity is it has direct links to both myself, my team and my members. They provide the most amazing support for both the patients and the families of those who have been affected by terminal cancer and they play a vital role in our community. We would love to give back to them a little of the magic and support they give out endlessly & say a huge thank you from all of us here at Curves Irvine.

Ayrshire Fight Academy - I was blown away by the story and the reason behind the foundation. The Zak Scoot Braveheart Foundation are doing amazing things for children that need help for their condition.

Duel Fitness - DIPG was Chosen because I have a friend who’s little girl recently passed away from a rare brain cancer.
