I help run 2nd Oxford Scout Group with Sarah Thompson, our Group Scout Leader, and our team of amazing volunteers.

We opened our doors 115 years ago, in 1908, and that makes us the oldest Scout Group in Oxford. Today, we run sections for Scouts, Cubs, Beavers and Squirrels. We do this because we love working with young people and helping them develop skills they need for life -- while having fun in the process! -- and helping our local community.

But we need your help! Our volunteers would love to be able to invest in new equipment; offer more opportunities for our young people; and help us offer Scouting to more young people across our local area. But we don't have the funds available to reach our full potential. You can make the difference!

That is why, on Thursday 11th May, we launched Scout & About, which is our 115th anniversary fundraising drive. This will continue for 115 days and is going to include fundraising at local events; sponsored events picked by our young people; cake sales; and much more. We would love any support you can share to show your support for our young people and volunteers.

The drive will end with a party on Sunday 3rd September. Any money you can share to support us will make a difference. Thank you.
