This charity ride is the 2nd of 3 events organised to raise much needed funds for the Grand Appeal children's' hospital charity, Born on the Edge, Ammanford Junior Sports Clubs Fund, Swn y Gwynt Community Mental Health Team, Alzheimer's Society Cymru, and Maggie's Cancer Support Centre. The cycle will take place on Super Fun Saturday 28th July 2018 at 09.00am and is approximately a 25 miles round trip mainly on the cycle track from the Cricket Club in Ammanford to Cwmtwrch and back, with a option for the riders to extend the ride to Pontardawe and back, which is approximately 35 miles . And for the serious riders a Crai reservoir circular which is a road ride and approximately 60 miles.

This page was originally for the Welsh 3 Peaks event in June, which has already raised well over £10,000.

Following the ride there will be a Hog roast, Family day and evening entertainment to further the fundraising efforts at the cricket ground which will also be hosting a home fixture of the 1st team v Pontarddulais.

We hope that the sponsored cycle ride will give the fundraising target another boost towards our overall goal of raising £20,000.
