I'm running 3 ultras in the summer, the South Downs Way 100 mile in June, Al Andalus 230km over 5 days in July, and North Downs Way 100 mile in August. I want every one of those miles to help make a difference to as many lives as possible so I'm asking for your help to support an animal sanctuary and the owner who can never say no to rescuing an animal, no matter how many lives they are already caring for.

The Tower Hill Stables Animal Sanctuary is totally non profit making and every penny goes to help look after the 600+ animals that Fiona and Martin rescue.

Fiona has spent her whole life dedicated to the animals and living vegan. She has cared for them at the Sanctuary, and spoken out for them in whatever way she could.

The awful times we have all had to endure now also threatens the very survival of the Sanctuary, their home, and the life of security, tranquillity, safety and peace Fiona has fought to create tor them over the years.

There is no Government Scheme, assured income, Health Service or support system for Sanctuaries so over 600 innocent, vulnerable and helpless lives relying on donations from people like you. The prospect of what may be to come is almost overwhelming but nothing is impossible and Fiona will die trying rather than give up on them.

Tower Hill Stables Animal Sanctuary provides care and a forever home to over 600 rescued animals, both domestic and ex-farm. Fiona and Martin run the sanctuary with the help of a small team of volunteers.

Every single penny donated goes towards the cost of feeding the rescues which is in the region of £15,000 per month. Fiona & Martin earn their living elsewhere (Fiona is a retained fire-fighter & Martin is retired).
