A.G.J Garden Nurseries was founded in 2015, We grow a huge variety of plants from vegetables to ornamentals, 90% of which are donated to local schools, Care homes & local projects. This year (2016) we donated around 4000 plants too local causes.. we sell roughly 10% in order to gain Monies for the next years donations I.e seeds-pots-soil-nutrients etc!
A.G.J are hoping to donate around 10,000 plants in 2017 not only to local causes but further afield!
In 2016 we donated plant hampers to 4 local schools, 7 local projects/youth clubs and 3 local care homes!
This enables schools to teach the next generation self sufficiency and also allows them to eat their own produce! Care homes have now started little garden plots for their residents so they have something they are most likely passionate about! We are asking for help too raise monies too not only enable us to purchase the items we need but hopefully too gain a local allotment which can be turned public for ALL too enjoy, also hopefully bringing the different generations together throughout the community at the same time!
The money raised will help pay towards seeds-soil-pots & relevant natural nutrients! we start growing early under LED lights so monies will also hell towards electricity and RGB LED grow lights :)
