Weʼve raised £71,750 to Support Abigail's cancer trip to America

Funded on Tuesday, 29th November 2016

    Story

As you all may know Abigail has been diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma cancer that has been extremely difficult to cure here in the UK. After many trips to see doctors and hospital appointments the conclusion has been that the best type of treatment for her would be at one of the best cancer treating hospital's in the world based in Houston, Texas, but is extremely expensive.

At only 21 Abigail has such a long way to go to enjoy all the things that life has to offer and as a family we are asking from the bottom of our hearts for everyone to help donate to her road to recovery. This journey for her will be a long and expensive process and we have set the goal at an extremely high cost as this is the reality of treating this disease. You cannot set a price on someones health.

You may or may not know this, but it was only two days ago that Abigail was accepted to the Houston Cancer Centre. The day after the news about her acceptance her and her family tragically lost Edward who was not only a son, brother, cousin, and nephew, but also a friend to many people within our community. A fun, loving, caring, energetic, cheeky, bright, and happy young lad that had a heart as big as anyone that we all know.

We are asking as a family to other families and friends out there to please donate towards Abigail's fight to beat the odds to come out of this a young and healthy woman. With many of us in good health being able to wake up in the morning and go about our daily life seems a normal task and one we may take for granted at times. For Abigail this task is far from a reality and this is what we are trying to change for her as well as for her family to watch their daughter grow up and enjoy all the things that we all continue to enjoy each day.

We only have a short amount of time to try and raise as much as we can for her so please take 5 minutes of you're time and help us donate towards her recovery. Thank you so much in advance from all of our family
