Story
Sadly during our Pre-School Christmas holidays our garden was badly vandalised and much of the equipment was stolen. Acorn Pre-School is a charity run Pre-School which has ben part of our community for 45 years. Following many months of hard fundraising our garden was renovated just 3 months ago much to the delight and enjoyment of the 2 and 3 year old pupils of the Pre-School. Sadly all of this has been destroyed with one mindless act. The site is also used for a before and after school club for children of Shefford Lower School, much of the outdoor equipment for the older children has also been stolen or damaged and needs to be replaced for the continued enjoyment of all of our pupils. We are hoping to raise at least £1500 to perform all of the repairs to the site and to replace the equipment that was stolen.

7 years agoWe are truly touched by the support that we have been shown following the vandalism damage that was caused at the pre-school over the Christmas break. The target amount we have set represents the costs that we have calculated for replacing the stolen and damaged equipment in the pre-school garden, it is amazing how the costs mount up and as a charity we don't have these kind of funds available immediately. Please help us to purchase the equipment needed to return the pre-school to the lovely fun filled place that it has always been.

7 years agoWow £615 towards our target of £1500 as well as other donations of some amazing toy dinosaurs and plastic animals, scooters, craft supplies, a bike and a little tikes car. We also have other items which we are due to collect next week, thank you so much to everyone for your donations and support.
