Story

Hello everyone!

I would like to start of by saying how lucky I am as a 16 year old boy growing up in a stable environment, in stable education, with supportive friends and family, promised a cosy bed to sleep in and money to buy luxuries with. For others this is not the case...

By working with Camps International I will help to:

• Improve the standard of every day life for village people living in Ecuador.
• Raise the educational and living standards of developing communities within rural districts of Ecuador.
• Assist with ongoing wildlife conservation programs to preserve biodiversity and protect vulnerable habitats.

This will be a challenging yet powerful trip for me but also life-changing as I love the outdoors and will be reaching far out of my comfort zone.

Last night me and my brothers invited some friends round with the aim of raising money for my Ecuador trip. To do so we charged £5 a head and sold hot dogs on the evening for £1 each. It worked very well, I had a great time and raised £120 from the enjoyable evening!

I would like to thank everyone who contributed towards the Ecuador trip. This is a picture of me and my friend Dom who is also fundraising towards an Ecuador trip coincidentally through the same organisation and it was taken on the summit of mount Snowdon. Luckily for us the weather was great and I was climbing in a T-shirt.
