Weʼve raised £1,050 to to help fund my friends cancer treatment to prolong his life so that he can have more time with his family by cycling 75 miles at 2 events

Story
Steve Neil and I plan to cycle 36 miles in the Sunrise Suffolk event in May and Davina's Big Sussex event in June to raise much needed funds for our friends husband. Nickmamed "Team Ammolla"!
Here is his story:-
In 2016 Michele Ammolla was diagnosed with a stage 3 rectal cancer. he has undergone a gruelling schedule of chemotherapy, radiotherapy & bowel surgery.
In March 2017 he had a routine scan which had indicated that Michele has multiple lung nodules with spread to his liver. His diagnosis unfortunately is now classed as terminal cancer.
His only hope of prolonging his life to spend more time with his young sons and beautiful with Georgia is to pay privately for a drug called "Keytruda". This drug has worked miracle on some cancers and his best chance of prolonging his life.

7 years agoA huge big thank you from the bottom of our hearts to our wonderfully generous friends & family for your donations. The donation will be used to buy life enhancing & life preserving treatment for Migel. Those if you who know Steve & I will share in the surprise that we pulled off cycling 40 miles today and 36 miles last month. Our sense of pride & achievement fills our hearts & spirits. Thank you to everyone who has supported us. I did mention that maybe next year we try for the London to Brighton....anyone want to join us? ❤️🙏🏻🚴🏻♀️

7 years agoWe all just wanted to say a massive thank you to our very generous friends who have sponsored for our bike 🚴 rides..... we have our first 35 mile ride this Sunday in Suffolk. Looking forward to it all the more knowing that we are raising money for Miggs Meds. So if anyone else would like to sponser us then that would be wonderful as it would be nice to make our target 🎯 x

7 years agoJust back from our training where we comfortably managed 26 miles round trip today..... I say comfortable however Steve did mention his saddle soreness seceral times! Nothing that coffee & cake didn't cure! A BIG thank you to those very kind & generous people who have sponsored us so far. A polite request to our many lovely friends to help support us by sponsoring us if you can. Every little counts & I know it will help to spur us on.
