Alpine Glacier Project Fund, in Memory of Prof. David N Collins, 1949-2016.
Funds in support of the continuation of the work of the Alpine Glacier Project, the longest most detailed record of Alpine meltwater quality in existence.
Along with its central research objectives, the project provides the opportunity for practical experience for students taking part in field courses and for sustained periods of individual fieldwork for undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations, with around 50 students visiting the Alps each Summer

8 years agoDear all - thank you once again for your kindness and generosity. The attendance at DNC's funeral last Thursday was nothing short of extraordinary. Please note that the date of the Memorial Service, to be held in Peel Hall, Salford will now be Friday 20th January, 2017.
