    Story

On 7th January 2017, our loving husband, son, and dear friend, Andrew Hill, sadly passed away after a brave battle with a brain tumour. He was just 32.

Both Andrew and his wife Kirsty lived every moment to its fullest, and were overwhelmed by the quality of care in his last few weeks. But finding professional support was hard, especially in those early days, and the simplest things in life often became challenges of their own. From the smaller things, like transportation logistics and the over-inflated price of holiday insurance, to the larger, more important challenges, such as on-going IVF treatment costs, Andrew and Kirsty just about managed to plough through. But it hasn't been an easy ride.

Now, Kirsty, with the support of her family and friends, would like to set up a trust fund in Andrew's memory to help other families who are facing similar battles. It will become a much-needed extra lifeline for those who need support, even if it's just with the smallest things. The money you help raise on this page will become the lump sum that will open that fund, or at the very least be injected back into the causes that helped Andrew and Kirsty throughout their struggle (such as The Big C, and Amberly Hall).

We can change the lives of families living with a sick loved one. But we can't do it without your support. Please help us to help Kirsty live her dream, and keep the life of Andrew Hill a long and lasting legacy.

WE DID IT! £3,000! Wow. Thank you so much. But please, don't stop there. All money raised will go towards Kirsty's dream to set up a fund in Andrew Hill's name, to help other families with a sick loved one. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts!
