Hi,

Thank you for reading my story. I am a primary school teacher and originally from Belgium.I always cared and loved children, so I am loving my job very much. I have 3 children who are my world.
I travelled through India, Nepal , Thailand, Australia and NZ.
In my free time I run a lot and thought it would be a good idea to combine my passion "running" with something I love to raise money for too!

I always wanted to do a marathon and put myself through a challenge. Taking part in the " MARATHON ON THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA" is definitely one of them!
I am raising money for 3 charities.
*My first charity is for homeless people. The money will go to the big organisation in Liverpool for homeless people who try to get homeless people on the right path again and feed them and support them as much as possible. No one deserves to live on the street.
*My second charity is for children who live in poverty in the Wirral.
I chose the Wirral because I live in the Wirral myself. So wanted to keep it local.
I am hoping to give the children's charity some funding which might help towards basic necessities those children need. Like clothing, food,school items, even a desk to do homework on ,some toys etc.
*My third charity is raising money for materials towards a scouts group in Birkenhead. I witnessed an awful lot of volunteering towards entertaining the scouts children. However they need some new materials to improve their accommodation they are currently using.

My aim is to raise a £ 1000 for each charity.

I am paying for my own accommodation, entrance to the marathon and flights. Every penny will go to those 3 charities.

Every gift is very much appreciated , weather it is a £1 or weather you buy a cake at my charity events.

Thank you for your support and I am currently running and training very hard to conquer those stairs at the Great Wall !
