    Story

We have been hesitant to set up a Justgiving page as we are just a normal family, but lots of people have asked, so here it is.
Arabelà is our smiley four year old.
She loves painting, baking, reading, jumping, and her little sister Beaulah.
She has a special affinity with animals.
    She is also Autistic.
Although Autism brings huge and numerous daily challenges to Bella and our whole family, it is as much a part of her as her golden ringlets and her grey green eyes. This difference in her also has an astounding beauty. She notices the tiniest details, remembers every experience, enthuses over any small joy, and teaches a unique perspective.
Arabelà needs help dressing and eating. She cannot peddle a bike, follow complex directions, or sleep through the night but she taught herself to read fluently before she was three and a half! She braves many difficulties every single day, getting dressed with uncomfortable fabric against her skin, eating enough to thrive, and surviving our loud, busy ever changing world is tough, but she never gives up.
Arabelà has always loved painting and although her life drawings are limited and very basic, many of her abstract works make my heart sing and have drawn a lot of interest. Of course because she is still little I help. I buy and prepare the supplies and set everything out, and advise new things to try, but the work is all her own.
Our dream is to give Arabelà a special autism trained dog. A furry friend who may help calm when she is anxious, guard when new places are too busy, help prevent her from bolting when she can't cope and help find her when she does.
    Maybe even help her sleep.
All profit from Arabelà's Art ongoing will help fund her special dog and help make her life easier, and nicer.
Please help support us by liking and sharing our page www.facebook.com/arabelasart and if you'd like to donate via just giving or buy a painting, well thats very exciting for Arabelà!
    Thank you so very much.
