    Story

The importance of understanding the Arabic language cannot be understated. The current setup of children going to the Masjid to learn how to read the Quran has failed children for many years in that they do not understand a word that they are reading. While reading the Quran is meritorious, the Quran was sent down to be understud and implemented into our lives. For this to happen, the paradigm of teaching and learning has to change. An Arabic language care centre for children as young as two and a half years of age is being set up in Bradford to pilot. Children from this age will be exposed to the Arabic language from the outset in a hope that over years they will appreciate the Quran in the source language that it was revealed. Any small donations even as little as £1.00 will go a long way towards our goals.

Asalamu alikum brothers and sisters. A quick update on how the project is developing.the development of the Arabic speaking nursery began on the 18th of October 2016. The first task was to take down the garage and the shed at the corners of the back garden to expand the play area as much as possible. This work is now ongoing. We have also instructed YEME Architects to come in and develop the plans for the first floor nursery.
