April is autism awareness month and I am willing to give up my family and my work during this month and instead of delivering training in the United Kingdom. Possibly I will spend April in Southern Africa(Botswana and South Africa) training and speaking in order to raise as much awareness as possible. I am a trainer and educator, have two beautiful sons on autistic spectrum and feel very privileged that they get all the support and understanding they can possible get especially in school. It is a fact and I have witnessed that in Africa there is little or no autism awareness. As a mother and professional working in the autism field I am very much aware of the positive impact early identification and diagnosis, awareness and understanding can have on our individuals. I have had incredible interest to my proposal however there are no funds to support my travel. Hence, my humble request to you to help me raise £1000 towards my travel and expenses to Africa. I will be delivering training and speaking on how to identify autistic traits, understanding autism and how to support individuals on the autism spectrum.If my target is not reached I will donate whatever funds raised to a local autism charity. But I know together we can do this Autism Awareness Africa 2017 . TIA
