Without any warning our competitive swimming has lost it's council grant of £20,000 pa plus free morning pool hire (which we used to have at the old Pool & Track swimming pool) worth £9,000 pa to us as a club. As you can imagine, to lose such a sum without having the chance to look for alternative ways to fund us has had a devastating impact on our club.

We are a very successful competitive swimming club that has been established for over 30 years. We have strong roots in our local community, Waltham Forest.

Our swimmers are amazing young people who are dedicated to their sport. You have to be if you want to swim competitively. Some train up to 9 times a week. We have had a brilliant year in terms of swimming successes, which we are deeply hoping to continue. In short we have achieved:

National Champions, Regional Champions and County Champions.
One of our National Champions holds the British record for the 12 year old 50m backstroke. As a result they also work with the England Olympic 2024 training program.

Despite this success, our club is in danger of folding unless we raise urgent funds to see us through the next year while we work on finding a permanent sponsor.
