Hello everyone,

Thank you for taking the time to read this story. I am trying to raise money to help two of my very good friends in a situation that I cannot even comprehend.

Recently after assuming she would never have a child of her own due to a genetic condition my best friend Nicki and her lovely boyfriend Ollie were expecting their first child on the 15th of October 2016 they were both so excited and couldn’t wait to be parents.

She had a wonderful pregnancy this however did not come without obstacles as she was told there would be a 50% chance the baby would be born with Huntingtons disease. The baby was tested at 11 weeks and thankfully came back negative we were thrilled.

Roman was truly a miracle baby and destined to be- however things did not pan out as we all hoped they would. Nicki was admitted to hospital on the 15th of October to get things started, after a check up with the midwife we were advised this was best.

We then spent the next four days- Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday waiting for Roman to arrive. Wednesday morning 6.07AM I received a phone call from a distraught Nicki explaining to me that they couldn’t locate a heartbeat and that she was scared of what was to come, I tried my best to calm her down in hopes the baby had just moved positions the line went quiet and the next voice I heard was the midwife telling me I needed to come and be with Nicki .

Roman Aurora had sadly passed away without even having a chance to say hello to her mum and dad.

Words cannot describe how devastated we all are for Nicki and Ollie who so wanted nothing more than to meet their baby girl and be a family together.

We are asking you all to help us give her the goodbye she deserves and to turn the ashes to jewels for her wonderful parents so she can be with them always. Again thank you for taking the time to read this tragic story I hope you can find it in your hearts to help these wonderful people.
