Story
At Bamford School, we are trying to update and refresh our reading books for children and to purchase new maths equipment to support learning in school.
As school budgets tighten, we need to update our books so that our children can develop a love of reading which will stay with them into adulthood. In particular, we wish to purchase more non-fiction texts which will support our curriculum as well as purchase new, up-to-date fiction which appeals to our children.
We also wish to purchase new equipment which will help develop maths skills, through purchasing new games and equipment for our Early Years. Funds raised will help us enormously as funding for schools, particularly in small rural schools is steadily being eroded. C
