ITS ALL ABOUT THE CHASE! for BASH's Pug

3 years ago I set about trying to find a Peugeot 205 GTI that once belonged to a good friend Ian Basford who sadly died some time ago. The car had a lot of work carried out by myself and James Taylor including an Mi16 engine conversion.
The first 2 years of my search were trawling the internet in the classified adds and Peugeot forums but with no luck. I had nearly given up when a photo was found by Andrea Ridehalgh showing only the front grill of the car and the number plate.
I thought with the reg number things would be simpler but without being a previous owner or the car involved in an accident the DVLA would not release the current owner information. I posted the reg number on a number of Peugeot forums but with no real response.
So 2 weeks ago I came across the photo of the car and was tempted to delete it and give up the search but something made me post it on the forums one last time. To my surprise I got a response from Mathew Bunn to say he once owned the car, I could not believe it and was over the moon until I was told he had sold it to someone who broke up the car to put the parts into another car. That was it I thought, time to end my search until I was then told he knows where the car is. Anyway I managed to get in touch with the guy that broke the car and to my surprise he still had it some 12 years after he bought it and to top it off up to 3 years ago has been sat on a farm less than a mile away from my house before being moved to a unit in Billingham.
So a week later what's left of the car is now purchased and it's in my garage, it's in a sorry old state and requires a bare shell restoration which has commenced today.
As this project is not being completed for profit or gain and will not be sold I am looking for any help people or businesses can give with time, materials, tools or even a monatory donation. Any money raised will be used for the final shell preparation and paint work.
