    Story

Beautiful Minds aims to be a mental health magazine dedicated to supporting, raising awareness and smashing the stigma around mental health.

There is plenty of magazines on the market on a diverse range of topics from fashion to technology and transport to sport, but what about something that affects every single person in the human race? Mental health.

My business idea is to create a mental health magazine, which is as accessible as any music or style magazine on the market. I want to create an open, honest and inclusive magazine written by individuals with mental illness experience, for those who are suffering in one way or another with mental health problems. I recognise that everyone has mental health. Everyone needs to take care of their mental health, which is why my magazine will be inclusive of everyone. The magazine will provide content for those who know someone with a mental illness and don’t know how to support them, those who are struggling with their mental illness, those who think they might need to get help but are unsure of where to go and those who are just feeling like they are not doing enough to take care of their mental health.

Beautiful Minds aims to be diverse and inclusive, listening and recognising the views of the LGBT+ community, those of colour and individuals with disabilities.

Everyone has a mental health. Everyone has a right to look after it and not be treated unfairly or discriminated against at school, in the workplace or wider community.

Money raised will go towards the publishing costs, advertisements, running a sleek and professional wesbite, paying the writers and artists as well as a percentage of the profits made from the magazine will go to mental health chairites.

Together we can fight the stigma
