18 months ago Byron was diagnosed with osteo sarcoma a very rare form of cancer, he has had a bone graft replacing his left humorous with his left fibula he has had muscle moved from his lower back to try and fill out his shoulder. Byron has undergone six different types of chemotherapy.
Just over a year later we found out that it has spread to Byrons lungs, he has just had an operation recently to remove a very large tumour from his left lung, The scans show more tumours on the right lung.
unfortunately chemotherapy hasn't been working against this type of cancer.
We are raising money now for further treatment for Byron, the NHS has no further treatment for him now so we are looking at treatments which are not licenced here.
We also will be using the money to cover expenses which we as a family can not afford.
