Story
After making a donation to purchase essential land for the Huruma Orphanage Community Centre (HOCC) , Capital International Group are sending a team of 12 volunteers to the town of Arusha, Tanzania.
HOCC was founded in 2012, the orphanage cares for children aged between 4-17. Most have been orphaned as a result of losing one or both parents due to life threatening illness . The orphanage provides shelter, basic education, vocational training and a safe place to live.
Your donation will help secure the future of the orphanage and help it to become self-sufficient. It will also help the trustees to teach valuable agricultural and animal husbandry skills, which will help the orphans themselves become self-sufficient in later life.
