Call To Nature Permaculture Ghana Foundation is a not-for-profit organization, registration number CG144282015. Our mission: every community and every school will have a garden, maintained by its people, using permaculture methods and principles.

Our need is to raise $1000 to purchase seeds supplies for the 2017 growing season. You can adopt this year’s project for implementation under your name by providing full amount. We plan to feed about 3000 people in 2017, 5000 by 2018 and 10,000 by 2020.

We grow carrot, beet root, lettuce, cabbage, broccoli, mustard green, collard green, kale, swiss chard, callaloo, spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes, mint, parsley, dill, basil, moringa, onions and many more.
For the past year of operation, our project has been able to feed many schools and other institutions around Accra and the Eastern part of the country. Here are some of them:

Kunkunuru Methodist Basic School, Oyarifa Basic School, Osbin International School, Gyankamah Methodist Basic School, Sun Shine Academy, De-Best International School, Ayim L/A school, Frafraha Childrens Home, Jaynii Orphanage and Akropong School of the Blind.
In 2013, research by CTNP showed that the government school food supply is mainly carbohydrates, not providing adequate nutrition. We started this project to improve nutrition and also to bring children and communities together, working on the land, learning sustainable food production with permaculture methods.

In the past year our project has given one square meal per day to 600 school kids, 150 orphans and 50 disabled people. This is how we distribute the vegetables: 50% goes to the beneficiaries, we sell 30% to pay for our operation expenses, and we donate 20% to orphans and people living with disability.
