    Story

We, the Work Skills 2 Students at Cardiff and the Vale College; sponsored by Bae Coffee, Simply Fresh and Subway at CAVC, will be climbing a massive 1,085 meters - the equivalent of Snowdon - to raise money for Leonard Cheshire Disability's Cardiff Can Do Project!

Can Do is a charity which provides Young Disabled People with opportunities to build life long skills and get everyone in the community better connected. Can Do provides activities that the young people want to get involved in and base their sessions around their interests and abilities. Can Do provides City and Guilds Certifications and aims to build confidence in what young disabled people can do for their community.

We have chosen this Charity because we feel Can Do provides young disabled people with opportunities that they may not otherwise receive and help us gain skills we can really use. We feel Can Do is a great Charity to support as they help others; increase our confidence and reduce the likelihood of poverty for Young Disabled People.

We have teamed up with Can Do on a Social Enterprise Project where we have been fully involved in our community, raising money and supporting various charities. As part of this project we have made the brave decision to participate in a sponsored climb to raise money for Can Do so the Charity is able to help more groups like us in gaining skills and qualifications.

The climb is taking place on Wednesday 17 May so please donate anything you can to help us achieve something massive and help a great cause in the meantime.
