Help us to help Catherine to help her daughter and family.

Catherine is a mother of 4, a member of our Damsels in Success group and our beautiful friend.

She is loving, giving, generous and the lynchpin of her family. A cancer survivor herself, Catherine has an 18 year old daughter, Esther, who is battling cancer for the 3rd time in her short life. After an initial diagnosis at age 3, the cancer came back at age 16 and now again. This time Esther has secondary tumours on her spine and chest and the odds are not in her favour – the more it comes back the harder it gets to fight.

Esther is a determined fighter and so is Catherine who is being a rock for Esther as well as her 2 other daughters (aged 16 and 13) and her 3 year old son. We’ve witnessed her navigating this horrible situation with grace, love and incredible strength.

We want to raise money for Catherine and her family to be able to escape the relentless intensity of everything surrounding Esther’s cancer, when they need to.

If you’re a parent then you know that you’d do anything to support and care for your child if she were in danger. You also know that as a parent you have to put your own oxygen mask on first and make sure that you’re ok so that you can be there for your kids.

This is about helping Catherine and her family to have that oxygen mask.
Help us to raise £2000 to create a fund for 2 purposes:

1. For the family to use to get away from the cancer madness when they need to. This might just be a long weekend in a caravan but the most important thing is they get to go away and be together, away from the craziness, to just be themselves and be together. It’s about making sure there are no regrets that they didn’t get to spend enough quality time together as a family.

2. To fund a gym membership for Catherine so that when she needs to, she has somewhere to go, away from it all, where no one is going to ask her questions about
