I am supporting an friend of mine who is currently battling breast cancer. Julie is 37, in September 2016 was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her aim is to now raise awareness to others about the importance of self examination no matter of age of health. Julie is also aiming to raise £1000 for every year of her age so a huge £37,000 in total, this money will be divided amongst many charities that have supported her and others who battle this awful disease.

I am running the Brecon half marathon trail run.I will be doing this in a 7kg weighted vest. I HATE LONG DISTANCE RUNNING, but i am doing this challenge to support my friend and her journey. I know the burden of the vest on my joints is nothing compared to what she s going through.
