In a stressful year so far.... my husband is facing a procedure in hospital which has made him give up on his golf, so he has turned to another pursuit of his ....Scrabble. I would like to surprise him by sending him to Doha, Qatar in August to play in the World Championships, this would give him a boost and aid his recovery. He is World Championship standard so this is not a pointless junket of a trip. I know this would be a dream trip for him and he would willingly donate to charity should targets be reached in pursuit of getting him to the event. Donators would also be able to follow his progress live online as nearer the time an updated link to the event will be posted. Businesses will benefit from donating too, as they will be advertised at the event via their business logo being put on a t-shirt my husband would wear during competition days.
