Well where do I start,

This is aimed to provide food, basic toiletries and shelter to vulnerable people in the Chesterfield community.

We as volunteers all have different reasons why we commit are time to help others.
For me it is through past life experiences. At a young age you don't really have a understanding of the world around you, as I grew I learnt to understand that everyone is different and we all choose different paths in life and make different decisions. I grew to learn that a family member had chosen a different direction in life resulting in homelessness further leading to petty crime and then to drug abuse. As I matured into a adult I witnessed the battle that my family went through to rehabilitate my loved one. So here is the sad part, earlier in 2017 I lost a loved one, I lost someone I respected, I looked up to. I lost a UNCLE, somebody lost a BROTHER, DAD, GRANDAD, SON, FRIEND, HUSBAND.

HOMELESSNESS IS A PATH TO DESTRUCTION.

We aim to end homelessness in Chesterfield.

Everyone deserves a chance, we all make bad decisions in life, We lend that helping hand to those wanting to change there life.

Being given the chance to meet such people that are polite and well mannered and ask for nothing but need so much. We aim to provide what is essential in day to day living to improve hygiene and health. Essentials that we all take for granted.

Giving little can make a massive impact that will be remembered for a lifetime and could possible change everything for the recipient.

We never judge, we are all human and no matter where we are in life or why we are there, we all deserve a good standard of living.
