Hi there! Thank you for coming and visiting my page!
I am currently fundraising money for one of my instalments, of my trip to Rwanda in Summer 2017!
My trip is with Girl Guiding, and with a project called GOLD! (Guiding Overseas Linked with Development)

I will be with a group of 5 other participants, all members of Girl Guiding, travelling to Rwanda, in the summer, to help development of their Guiding and Leadership Programs.
The main aims for the project in Rwanda are to train leaders in First Aid, Leadership, Safeguarding, Women's rights, WAGGGS, (World Association Of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts) and World Guiding.
As well as to facilitate the review of the current leadership materials and develop a resource for Young Leader, (which is how I continued my guiding) and Leaders in Training and helping make Girl Guiding fun and enjoyable experience.

Girl Guiding have been a key experience in my life, making a huge impact in everything I do. It has given me amazing experiences including having the chance to hike to the top of Kinder Scout, learn how to drive a narrow boat down the Grand Union Canal, been camping across the UK and show that girls can do anything!
Since September I have been volunteering in Portsmouth, where I go to University, and this community is seen as a poorer area. I'm hoping by taking this challenge I can also prove to my girls that anything is possible no matter where you're from, even places like the UK or Rwanda.
This project will allow me to help other girls and young women, in the UK and Rwanda, have the same experience that I have been so lucky to have.
