Hi everyone, I'm lucky enough to have a place in the London Marathon and can't think of a better cause to run for than something which is close to the hearts of my friends. Epilepsy affects 1 in 94 people in Wales and many of these depend on local groups for support and guidance. I aim to raise much needed funds for a small group in South Wales who not only helped my friend and his family but who strive to make the lives of other epilepsy sufferers better. As well as providing support they also seek to raise awareness about epilepsy within local communities; delivering awareness sessions and advice and guidance events whenever possible. All of this is dependent on much needed funds which they generate through their hard work fundraising with events and activities. This help is priceless to all involved but is reliant on donations. This is why I'm running. A 26.2 mile run is nothing in comparison to what this team of people do, voluntarily, on a day to day basis. Please, if you can, donate to my page and help me reach my target to help families affected by epilepsy. Maybe I'll even exceed it!
