Welcome to Cleaner Marine. We are a new organisation with determination to help rid the worlds oceans and coastlines of the hundreds of thousands of tonnes of waste which is harmful to all marine species and also harmful to the underwater environment.
Plastic waste has been dumped into the sea for decades, creating garbage gyres, which are floating islands of rubbish spanning for miles at a time. Yet the unsettling truth is that the gyres only equate for a total of 5% of the rubbish. The remaining 95% is spread along the oceans often submerged where it strangles marine creatures and damages the aquatic ecosystem.
As well as being an immediate problem, plastic when reacts with salt water breaks down into fragmented pieces which ends its way into the food chain. This in end will change the precious and vulnerable natural ecosystem causing unknown amounts of damage.

We set out to continue making bigger expeditions to clean up as much as possible.

based in Cambridgeshire, UK. Everybody dreams of a brighter future, however a dream is only a dream. We are
determined to help retain the world natural beauty. Statistics say on average 75-93% of the worlds coral fields will have been eradicated by the year 2050.
This is a very unsettling statement and would be absolutely disastrous for the
aquatic ecosystem and also for mankind, as the coral fields play a huge part in
creating the air we breath. Here at Cleaner Marine we are combatting to change those number drastically. Creating a safer and
healthier planet for generations to come. Plastic is a very harmful product, Some types of plastic break down
when mixed with salt water and become tiny particles, which end their way into
the food chain, causing a rippling effect of damage through the marine world.
This cant go on, and we are determined to stop this from continuing.
