The Dad Network has played such a part in supporting Dads of all ages, backgrounds and situations in helping them understand what's going on in their lives.

Adam, Syd and I feel that The Dad Network has specifically:
-Promoted Dad as an equal parental role model
-Provided support and stood up for Dads in still birth counselling, advice and support.
-Raised awareness of men's health issues both physical and mental.
-Given new Dads a platform to ask questions, challenge myths and mentally prepare themselves for a role as a modern parent.

So when there was talks of an official charity to help fathers and their families that are in need our question was how can we support this and raise awareness!

To register the foundation as a charity they need to raise £5000 and this is our way of helping them. As an official charity they can then offer financial grants & gifts to those who need it most.

So I suppose you want to know what we're doing, 5 of us are hiking 84+ miles coast to coast across England along Hadrian's wall. We all have various important charities to us and Syd, Adam and I (who have all been supported by The Dad Network) are proud to be supporting them.

So please dig deep, we'll be cold, wet, tired and de-motivated. But knowing that we're doing something to give back and hopefully creating an annual event, will see us through to the finish line, 6 days later.
