Last Spring Cobthorn suffered unbearable losses to poultry due to predation by foxes and badgers, and the threat of predation is increasing year on year.

The impact on our precious lineages was enormous and distressing, with over 130 valuable breeding birds lost. This has also resulted in a corresponding loss of vital operating income.

If we are to preserve the National Poultry Collection, action must be taken now.

Please help us avoid the same tragedy this year. We are seeking donations to cover labour and materials to rebuild and reinforce the poultry pens so that provide adequate protection from predation.
