Story
On March 18th 2017, I will be entering a boxing ring at the Guild Hall in Preston in aid of Connor's Little Wishes.
Connor Griffith is a boy of 15 years old with a condition called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This is a tragic condition that causes Connor's muscles, including the heart, to deteriorate instead of develop.
Connor was an active teenager despite his disability. But all of this sadly came to an end three years ago as he is now wheelchair bound.
The life expectancy for boys with Connor's condition vary from middle to late teens. Connor's parents have dedicated their lives to making Connor's life as easy and comfortable as they can. He has a tracking system in his bedroom so that he can be hoisted in and out of bed.
Connors's parents are doing their upmost to ensure that Connor's remaining years are filled with as many happy memories as any teenager could wish for which has led me to try and raise as much money as I can for this cause.
I hope many of you will get behind this charity and every sponsor, no matter how big or small, will be appreciated. I hope to fight on the night as well as Connor has for the last 15 years.
If anyone would like to donate to Connor's Little Wishes, this can be done via the Just Giving Page and if anyone is interested in supporting me on the night, please contact me directly and I can sort you with tickets for the event.
