Sadly, Cai has recently been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour. He & his family are hoping that proton beam therapy will be a treatment option for him, however this treatment is not currently offered here in the U.K. on the NHS. If Cai is able to have this treatment, himself & his family will have to cover all the costs themselves, which is likely to be thousands. We would like to try & raise as much money as possible so if Cai can have this treatment, he & his family won't have to worry about raising the funds to pay for this on top of everything else they are facing at the moment. If, for some reason, the treatment is not offered then any money raised will go towards giving the family as much financial help as possible so that they can spend quality time together without worrying about work or bills.
