Hi everyone
I'm taking part in the Liverpool half marathon on the 28th May I'm doing this as my Best friend was diagnosed with breast cancer in July 2016 at 29 years of age she has 2 small children 6 and 1 and is currently almost at the end of chemotherapy.
Georgia was just 10 months old when Natasha was diagnosed looking for help and support her nurse gave her a contact of a charity called Mummys star.Pete the founder of the charity travelled to meet Natasha and Richie and discussed how mummys star can help and support them as a family also sharing his very sad but inspirational story of why mummys star began they have supported them while going through this terrible time also funding Georgia to be able to go into nursery 2 afternoons a week for 4 months while Natasha Is having treatment and really poorly she can rest and also giving Georgia time to have lots of fun.
Having this support has made life a little easier for Natasha and Richie and Natasha said to herself when she was better she would raise money to give something back to mummys star to help familys like hers.
So getting the fundraising under way I'm starting it off with my run. Let's help give something back to a wonderful charity who helps family's every day like my friend Natasha.
