"“I was at the concert in Manchester on Monday night” ……… those were words I found almost impossible to speak without breaking-down for more than a week after the Ariana Grande concert at the MEN arena on May 22nd. I’m delighted that the 2017 Daresbury Dash will be raising money for the charity seeking to support the victims, this is such a worthy cause. Terrible as it was, truly beyond words, the event has brought out the best of people in Manchester, and people in general. Its also given Manchester a very fitting anthem and motto: Don’t look back in anger. Now one of my Desert Islands discs ……."
This years Daresbury Dash on the 21st June is dedicated to all those affected by the Manchester Attack. All of the money raised will be donated to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund in Partnership with British Red Cross.

Massive thank you to everyone who has donated and supported this cause. Hope everyone at DL enjoyed the Dash. An in.brief article will be published this week showing the presentation of the cheque. All monies raised will be donated to the Red Cross We Love Manchester Just Giving page.
