Emelia was born to ride and at the tender age of four she represented Team GB in Belgium. She then went on to qualify for the BMX World Championships in Columbia in 2015 but sadly couldn't go. British Cycling this year have asked her to represent Team GB in the USA in 2017. Emelia had a bad foot accident in the summer holidays where she was wheelchair bound for 10 days. After the all clear, she trained hard and went on to win British Champion Two and South Champion One. As a single mum of two talented kids, I have supported my kids to my utmost and of those of you who know our family, it has been a very hard year.
