My beautiful brother Jamie Harrison was tragically taken from us on 29th November 2016. Jamie struggled with mental health problems for many years until sadly these problems overcame him.

Despite the devastation and sadness his loss has produced, he leaves behind an enduring legacy that will live on. He touched many people during his life with his warm heart and glowing smile. He was generous, kind and loving. As part of his legacy he passed these qualities onto his beautiful daughter Florence Harrison.

They shared a close bond as father and daughter could share and I know he will always look over her with his loving gaze. As his brother it is bestowed on me to continue to look after Florence the way Jamie would have wanted. I will naturally uphold the wonderful memories of him but also guide her as he would have and ensure she gets all the opportunities life has to offer.

As a family we decided that instead of using any donations for various charitable causes we would use any donations to establish a trust fund for Florence. We would use any donations as well as any money raised from some future fund raising events that have been discussed in Jamie's memory.

This trust fund will be managed in the best interest of Florence to ensure that her dad's legacy will continue to support her as she grows into adulthood. I know it's what Jamie would have wanted and would no doubt bring a smile to his face.
