Deborah is of West Indian descent and lived most of her life in the UK. Her parents and brother live in Atlanta in the USA . She has a son living in Swindon in the UK. A few years ago she moved to Atlanta to help look after her parents. Last year her father passed away after a heart attack and her mother was also taken seriously ill.

She had to move back to the UK due in part to financial difficulties and because her son was not in the best of health. This week she has found that her mother is suffering from stage 4 lung cancer.

After spending most of her life looking after others Deborah now lives in one room of a shared house in Swindon. She receives ESA after a thyroidectomy left her unable to work and is just about getting by.

I'm trying to help her raise enough money to get a return ticket to Atlanta so that she can be there for her mother.
