Story
I, Jordan Jervis, have decided to launch a couple of businesses in aim to inspire disabled people to follow there dreams, but let me first describe my self, here is a video of me,
https://vimeo.com/190007381
Here is mini personal statement,
'I have always wanted to be an entrepreneur and designer. In 2013 I applied for many job within the fashion industry and got rejected many times, this was because I needed more experience, but I couldn't because of my disability. During this year I was also attending phycology meetings where I became very close with my two mentors Colin and Aiden, I told these guys I wanted to make a clothing line, they said to me ‘but you have no experience, but anything is possible’ These guys taught me emotional intelligence and mindfulness which gave me the write mindset, even thou I had no experience I had the correct mindset.
In 2014 I attended London Fashion Week, before attending here I felt very out of place, because it is intimidating for someone who is disabled, but I decided this was the correct Industry for me. But I had no experience and experience is the only way to get into this industry, I was not going to be beaten or back down so I thought long and hard about how to get in. I decided that to launch my own brand, there was so much competion at the time and reasons as to why I shouldn’t launch my brand which is why I did it.'
Business one is called 'Disability Fashion Week' http://www.disabilityfashionweek.co.uk which is a business founded by Jordan Jervis in 2016, with the aim to revolutionise the way people see fashion. The fashion world is for everyone, even disabled people!
Business two is "Disability Modelling Agency' http://www.venorlondon.com/dma which is also a business founded by Jordan Jervis in 2016, with the aim to revolutionise the way people see the modelling world. The modelling world is for everyone, even disabled people!
It would be great if you could donate and share this page. Thank you.

8 years agoHello, I just wanted people to know this event is 100% for charity. The aim is to raise money and support people with disabilities, not the everyday charity that supports them. The fashion world is big and this event/project www.disabilityfashionweek.co.uk is the best opportunity for people with a disability to enter. That's why this project has been created! We just need everyone on bored!
