I've decided to raise money for Many Tears Animal Rescue. I'm a self employed dog groomer, a lot of my customers come from Many Tears. I'm very close with a few of the fosterers. The work they put into taking care and finding the dogs a lovely home is incredible. Here's a little bit about the rescue centre from my friend Steph who is a volunteer fosterer for Many Tears -
Many Tears is a Small Animal Rescue Based in Llanelli South Wales. It is a non profit organisation run by Sylvia Vanatta and last year it rehomed over 3400 dogs relying solely on generous donations raised by fundraisers and members of the public. Many Tears specialises in rehoming dogs from breeders who need specialist vet care and as you can imagine this can be quite expensive but no dog is turned away no matter how expensive it may be to give them a quality of life. They will do their best along with their network of volunteer fosterers across the UK to help fund treatment for the dogs and then get them a forever home. Some of the dogs (not many) end up in rescue pregnant and need c sections and treatment to help raise pups. All dogs are castrated/speyed micro-chipped and vaccinated before they leave.
