I am Reece, a 23 year old from Portsmouth, who's life over the last 3 months has been turned upside down. Following an incident in March I was diagnosed with AML an accute version of leukaemia; essentially cancer of the blood. If that wasn't enough, because of the treatment and required in patient hospital care, I have had to give up work which has inevitably meant I have lost my house. I have never been close to my family and true friends are hard to find these days. Something this experience has taught me is that sometimes in life you just have to do things on your own, however in the end it will come good.

I'm setting up this page in an attempt to rebuild my life. When I leave this hospital I will be back to just being me. I will be housed by the council (however everyone knows what those places are like), and​ will not be allowed to return to work until my fitness and health is back to "normal". This money will allow me to make a home, something everyone deserves.

To some this may sound like a charity plea but the reality for me is that this is who I am and I am not ashamed to ask for help. I thank you all in advance.
