Thanks so much for the donations so far, both through this page and in person. It has been phenomenal. We've taken the first car load of donated stuff today (in addition to the two car loads we've previously taken, which we bought from donated money). We've spent £100 on gift vouchers which will be given as gifts to teenage boys and had a request from WWIN for 150 selection boxes, which have been delivered today. The rest of the donated cash will be given to WWIN to spend how they see fit after the page closes on FRIDAY. Thanks a million. X

A million thank yous to everyone who has donated to the page- we're up to a whopping £570, which is astonishing! There have also been a load of donations already and great support from other organisations who have been sharing the appeal, including Sunderland Park Run, Sunderland Greens Party, Pop Recs, The Good Apple cafe and Dan Shannon, who is doing a special collection at his Pop Recs gig on 16th. Hi everyone, have spoken to WWiN today and they only accept NEW stuff over xmas (due to limited storage- their emphasis needs to be in new things for gifting etc). However, throughout the rest of the year they do accept second-hand stuff, so please hang on to anything and perhaps I'll do another collection in the new year.
