Norwich is a fantastic place for science and science related careers. As a society we can improve equality and diversity in the field and promote the accessibility of a career in science to those who feel it is out of their reach. With Eaton Park Science Day I hope to provide a platform for hope, advice and aspiration for future scientists of Norfolk.

"Embrace science and science will embrace you" is the essence of the event.

With fantastic support from the local community, science community and media we are looking to make a real impact on the day with lots of exciting and engaging activities for children and adults from local companies and even our local NHS hospital.

Unfortunately, we were rejected for the community grant from The British Science Association and I am having to look to the good nature of my community to make it happen.

To ensure the event can remain free for all funds raised will be used for:

- Events insurance
- Exhibition equipment
- Marketing materials

Any proceeds will be donated to Pregnancy Sickness Support.

Whether you can donate some money or tell of the importance of Eaton Park Science Day to companies that may be able to save the event would be very appreciated.
