This is little Elijah who is thankfully now under the care of F.A.B.
At just 6 months old he finds himself needing major surgery due to injuries that have unfortunately left him suffering for months. His femur (thigh bone) has completely broken off and rotated backwards so it sits back to front. The bones have then fused together in this position. There is no knee joint as it has been pushed outwards. The cartilage is severally damaged and there is also lower spinal damage which causes both back legs to splay. Because of this unfortunately there is no choice but to remove the leg.
