Ella Rose is joy! From the moment she was born, a few short months ago, all she has brought is happiness with her infectious smile and cheeky face. This little family, Leah, Ella and Matt, that should be at the start of a wonderful life together, full of memories, have instead been struck by every parents' worst nightmare.

It has taken a few weeks to receive the diagnosis of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 1, a condition which none of us in Ella's family had ever heard of before, but it is now all we can think about. It is in every moment.

Friends and family feel utterly helpless; we have set this page up in an attempt to ease at least one of the pressures they are under. Donating is a way that everyone can help!

This family desperately needs your support at this heart-breaking time. Any money raised will be used primarily for Matt, Leah and Ella to create some special memories together as a family. Secondly, the money may be used for medical intervention that Ella may need in the coming months, be this equipment or resources, for making day-to-day life more comfortable for her.
