As many of my friends know, my daughter Ruby was critically ill and at 4 days old was sedated and ventilated when medication failed to stop a seizure after 17 minutes of trying. Due to being too ill to stay at Hull Royal Infirmary she was transferred to the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at Leeds General Infirmary. Without the amazing team of medical staff from Embrace to transport her whilst on a ventilator and the amazing teams at Leeds PICU she most likely would not be here today.

On 24th June 2017, I will be taking part in Total Warrior Leeds - a gruelling 12k run which includes 30 challenging obstacles. I'm not a sporty gym buff so this is a massive challenge for me! It is an opportunity for me to raise some much needed cash to support the wonderful teams who tirelessly give the best care in the most horrible of circumstances.

Any amount big or small would be greatly appreciated.
