For three seasons there has been a failure of the rains in Puntland State of Somalia and the effects of this are now becoming catastrophic. Cattle are dying and people are suffering due to a lack of water and food. Millions of people and animals are threatened by the drought.

Somali Community Parents Association is a registered charity based in Leicester, UK. We are raising funds to support our families and friends who are affected by this drought. Some of the international agencies are slow and bureaucratic and we want to get support on time.
Our aim is to raise £10,000 for immediate water and food supplies.We will keep you informed of our work through this site.
